Executive summary
A single fold-out sheet summarising the Development Strategy and Topic Policies, and explaining how to make comments and objections.
Policy document
It has an Introduction explaining what the Local Plan is, what it contains, how to use it, and the process to adoption. There is then a Development Strategy setting out an overall vision for the physical development of North Lanarkshire. The Development Strategy has an Aim for the Local Plan, four Area Priorities where the pace and scale of change will be most significant, and four Policies that apply to every development. Four Topics then set out Policies that apply only to particular types of development, such as housing or retail.
